The entire world cried that dreadful September 11 when the buildings toppled, people died. I cried too and my heart was with the American people and with the families of all who had died on that terrible day.
And so the war in Afghanistan started. Refugees filled camps. Soldiers died. Women & children died............and still Osama Bin Laden is living his life and for some reason President Bush doesn't concern himself with that at all.............it's as though he forgets why the world stood by his side and went to war in Afghanistan along with him. But in fact the world did stand with America in what was considered a "just" action......to capture Osama.

There was nothing "friendly" about the American fire that killed these four young Canadian soldiers on duty in Afghanistan.
CANADIANS WILL NOT FORGET
And when Americans
were misled
into an illegal war
in Iraq by President Bush
how proud I was to be
CANADIAN.
I could not have been more
proud and happy
than the day I heard
our Prime Minister,
Jean Chretien
just say
NO.
And as I see it the terms dictated were from the shadows
of the mind of George W. Bush
who lied about too many things
in order to convince his
country to support
him in the killing of innocent men, women and children
in Iraq.
How can America call it a war when they simply
with all their bombs and weapons
terrify, destroy, pillage and occupy
another country, Iraq,
which had not done a single thing to threaten
the security of America or its people.
This is not war.
This is power out of control.
This is insanity.
This is George W. Bush.
Then and now
the shrub has no interest in listening to the opinion of
the rest of the world.
His only interest is self-interest.
He's on a dangerous power trip
and if he is re-elected then
God help the ordinary people in America
and God save the world
from George W. Bush.
George W. Bush likes to call himself a Christian.
I may like to call myself Sophia Loren
but that wouldn't make me a movie-star.
And spending a lot of time in a garage doesn't make me a mechanic either.
There is nothing Christ-like about George W. Bush that I've been able to detect.
And Jesus the Christ himself said, "He who lives by the sword shall die by the sword."
Jesus teaches love, forgiveness, tolerance, understanding, generosity, faith, turning the other cheek.
Isn't a Christian a person who lives by the teachings of Jesus the Christ?
I wish someone would remind George W. Bush of what being a Christian means.
It doesn't mean misleading others into an illegal war.
It doesn't mean telling lies and then more lies to cover the lies.
It doesn't mean killing innocent men, women and children.
It doesn't mean occupying a country (as the Romans did so long ago).
If George W. Bush were not in a position of power
then I would simply feel sorry for this stupid man.
But he is in a position of power
and this is what makes him so dangerous.
I pray he is not re-elected.
His strategy to rid the world of terrorists
has been to
become a terrorist
and to have the rest of the world view the U.S.A.
as a bully, as an occupier, as a scared child
blindly lashing out
at all who dare to disagree
with Bush's war-mongering policies.
Hey! they might attack us
Let's get them first
just in case they do.
Is that what being
an American means?
Who's next?
How sad!
Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me...
