HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY
"MY IRISH CONNECTION"
One of my ancestors, Lieutenant Colonel the Right Honourable Thomas Vessey Dawson,
Coldstream Guards,
fell at the Battle of Inkerman.
This Obelisk was built in 1857, a memorial to Colonel Dawson.
situate in Dartrey, Monaghan County,
Ireland.
May the luck of the Irish
be with you
and may you always
find your pot of gold
at the end of the rainbow!
